This is a short audio recording of someone cutting a very thick freshly-baked sourdough bread on a wooden cutting board in a big modern open home kitchen.

I'm a student studying sound and i and recording sounds this is one of the recordings. This sound is of a toaster being turned on and off.

Recorded using a canon gl1 and an audiotechnica shotgun mic(unsure of model number, a cheap one). The sound of a toaster being setand then popping up. Audio is low, gain might need to be adjusted.

This is a sound essay comprised of five 1-minute recordings. Seagulls and other birds are present throughout. Airplanes are heard at 2:07 and 4:22. Carpenters and other workmen are heard more or less throughout. Cars and trucks pass by frequently; trucks beeping as they back up are also heard. Putting bread in toaster and pushing down.

Coffee at the cottage. Started a olympus ls-10 + cheap old sony microphone, then proceeded to load the auto-drip coffee machine with coffee grounds, 4 cups of water and hit the brew button. Then, took out the old toaster, put a leftover waffle from yesterday's breakfast in, and toasted while the coffee was brewing. Various sounds accompanied with this ritual. . . Coffee maker and toaster sounds. Unscrewing and replacing the top to the nutella jar. Squeaky old oak floors of this 90 year old house making noise while i walk around. Water running, old clock on the wall ticking etc.
